Founded in 1995, and now presenting over 25 years of market experience, Salt Water is today the most trusted name in luxury resort and ready to wear in Greece. It all started when founder and visionary Marie Zacharaki identified a void in the Greek market when swimwear could only be found in specialized lingerie stores. She essentially introduced and established this category as a staple in high-end multi-brand boutiques. Determined to innovate and bring top fashion brands to Greek consumers, she built the firm into what is now: The premiere wholesale partner for luxury resort-wear, contemporary ready-to-wear, accessories, and swimwear brands.

Salt Water having been recognized as the market leader in resort-wear, gradually started to expand into new fields as of 2014 with:

The introduction of premium RTW brands that further complimented the existing brand mix, offering retailers and consumers alike an additional perspective on fashion

Setting up a growing, independent retail division that currently boasts 10 own stores (mono-brand and multi-brand) in prime locations

The company now supplies the top retailers in Greece with the most coveted, luxury fashion brands – representing a vast percentage of all high-end resort buys and making Salt Water the first choice for relevant retailers. These connections along with its own retail network allow the brands that Salt Water represents to reach not only local passionate fashion consumers, but also the most affluent international travellers as the overall retail reach is 1 in 5 locals and travellers.
