This season sees iconic prints from season’s past re-released in new colour ways, new mash- ups and never-before-seen designs.
Camila Franks and her team have wanted to dip into the archives for a long time now, and travel restrictions bought about by the pandemic offered the chance to do so.
«It’s a voyage of re-rememberence my heart has been yearning to do for years. A tribute to the times that were and the times to come, Back To My Future takes a crazy ride through the history of Camilla. My history. Our history”, says Franks.
The brand sees cult- favourite prints like Surrealist, Xanadu, Scarlett Artesia, Ziba Ziba, Poppy, Torero, Espiritu, Armada, Falconry, Huntress reimagined with futuristic fluros, contemporary colour palettes, bespoke CAMILLA hardware and new designs.
The collection experiments with new shapes and new silhouettes: you’ll find everything from eighties -styled boilersuits and parkas, to all- over embellishment, soft suiting options, floaty bohemian dresses, modern exaggerated shoulders, cotton poplin shirts, sheer organza ball skirts and kimonos, dressed -up jersey and a new take on resort wear. These sit beside core Camilla pieces that enjoy fame among brand lovers.
Graphic tees have fast become a new brand staple at Camilla, along with other laid-back options such as hoodies, spliced tracksuits and parkas, following the global trend of relaxed loungewear being the mood de jour.
